Irish Coffee

Over the years different variants of the beverage have evolved. The Kentucky Coffee is one of those variants where you use Bourbon whiskey instead of the Irish whiskey. In another variant you simply add a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream to a cup of black coffee. This is the recipe of the original Irish coffee.

Ingredients

  • 2 table spoons of brown sugar
  • 50 ml Irish whiskey
  • Strong coffee
  • Softly whipped cream

Preparation

Put the brown sugar in a preheated glass. Pour in whiskey and coffee. Stir until the sugar has resolved properly. Carefully top with some whipped cream and some rough grounded coffee beans. Serve with a long spoon.
